Technical Parameters

Parameters Typical range/options Explanation
Rated load 0.25–10 tonnes Overloading can cause cantilever deformation or rotation failure.
Working radius (arm length) 1–8 metres For every 1 m increase in arm length, the load capacity decreases by approximately 30%.
Lifting height 2–6 metres The vertical distance from the ground to the lowest point of the hook.
Rotation angle 360° (optional 270° or 180° limit) Electric rotation can be set with a dead point limit.
Lifting speed Manual: 0.5–2 m/min Electric: 3–8 m/min Variable frequency motors enable stepless speed control.
Column diameter 200–500 mm Depending on the load and height, the bending strength must be calculated.
Working class M3–M5 (intermediate) Select according to the frequency of use (ISO 4301 standard).

Product Description

A column-mounted cantilever crane is a fixed cantilever crane that uses a bottom column to support the cantilever, enabling 360° rotation and lifting within the work area. It is suitable for material handling, equipment maintenance, or assembly operations in scenarios such as workshops, warehouses, and production lines.

Product advantages

  • adv (1)

    Space-saving, flexible and efficient

Small footprint: Only requires fixed column foundations, eliminating the need for large tracks or support structures, making it suitable for compact workshops or narrow workstations.
360° rotation coverage: The cantilever can rotate freely (manually or electrically), covering a circular area and reducing blind spots during handling.
Quick positioning: Directly lift materials to the target point, avoiding repeated position adjustments by forklifts or cranes, improving efficiency by over 30%.
  • adv (2)

Stable load-bearing capacity, safe and reliable

Rigid structure: The columns and cantilever arms use box beams or reinforced I-beams, offering strong bending and torsional resistance, with deflection ≤ arm length/200 (national standard).
Anti-swing design: Some models are equipped with guy wires or diagonal braces to reduce load swaying and precisely position heavy components (e.g., machine tool moulds).
Multiple safety protections: Standard features include overload limiters, mechanical limit switches, and rotation locking pins (optional collision buffer devices).
  • adv (3)

    Easy installation and high adaptability

Low foundation requirements: Only embedded anchor bolts or flange mounting are required, with a concrete foundation thickness of ≥300mm (in contrast to bridge cranes, which do not require track beams).
Multiple installation options: Can be mounted on the ground, steel structure platforms, or wall-mounted auxiliary supports (e.g., tall columns with diagonal braces).
    Environmental compatibility:
    Indoor: Standard anti-corrosion paint
Outdoor: Optional hot-dip galvanised or stainless steel materials (resistant to acids, alkalis, and salt spray).
  • adv (4)

    Low cost, high cost-effectiveness

Low initial investment: Price is only 1/3 to 1/2 of a bridge crane (e.g., a 1-tonne cantilever crane costs approximately 20,000 to 50,000 yuan, including installation).
Low maintenance costs: Simple structure requires only regular bearing lubrication and bolt inspections, with no complex electrical systems.
Extremely low energy consumption: Manual models require no electricity, while electric models typically have a power consumption of ≤1.5 kW (more energy-efficient than overhead cranes).
  • adv (5)

    Modular design, flexible expansion

Customisable load capacity: 0.25–10 tonnes available, with boom lengths adjustable from 1–8 metres as needed.
    Function upgrades:
    Manual rotation → electric rotation (add a reducer motor);
Manual hoist → electric hoist (variable frequency control + remote operation).
Mobile variant: Can be modified with casters or tracks for base installation, enabling workstation switching.
  • adv (5)

    Simple operation, human-machine friendly

One-button control: Electric models come with a wireless remote control, allowing a single person to complete lifting, rotation, and movement (mobile variant).
Ergonomic design: Hook height and rotation resistance are adjustable to reduce physical strain on operators.
Low noise: Electric hoist operating sound pressure ≤75 dB (better than traditional overhead cranes).
