I. Can your cranes handle molten metal safely?
Yes. Our ladle cranes for steelmaking are designed with dual-brake systems, redundant safety devices, and heat-resistant components (up to 70°C ambient). The cabin is insulated and pressurized to protect operators. All molten metal handling cranes undergo 125% static load testing before delivery.
II. How do you protect cranes from high temperatures and dust in steel mills?
We use heat shields on girders, high-temperature rated cables (up to 180°C), sealed motor housings, and IP55+ protection for electrical components. For extreme environments, we can add water-cooling systems or remote-control operation to keep operators away from heat zones.
III. What's the typical delivery time for a steel mill crane?
Standard models (under 50 tons) take 6-8 weeks from order confirmation. Heavy-duty cranes (100+ tons) or custom designs require 10-14 weeks, including design approval, manufacturing, and factory testing. We provide a detailed production schedule upon order.
IV. Do you offer spare parts for long-term maintenance?
Yes. We keep a stock of critical spare parts (wheels, brakes, motors, electrical components) for all models we supply. We also provide a recommended spare parts list with each crane and can arrange fast shipping worldwide. Most standard parts are interchangeable across our product range.
